Terms of Service

The short version: use Lulliko to record and coordinate your family's care. Basic logging is free. Don't misuse the Service or other people's data. We're a logging tool — not a medical service.

NOTE TO OWNER: This template must be reviewed and completed with your legal entity details before public launch (entity name pending LLC formation), and reviewed by a qualified professional.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lulliko website (lulliko.com) and application (the "Service"), provided by Lulliko ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Our legal entity details will be updated here upon completion of company formation.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. The Service is designed for parents, guardians, and caregivers coordinating the care of children. Each caregiver uses their own account; you are responsible for the activity that happens through accounts you control and for the accuracy of the caregiver invitations you send.

3. The Service — and what it is not

Not medical advice. Lulliko is a care-logging and coordination tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any suggestions, summaries, or "what's next" cues are general guidance generated from your own records, are not a schedule you must follow, and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your child's health.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the records, audio, photos, and notes you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you and the caregivers you invite. We do not use Your Content to train machine-learning models, and we do not sell it. You may export or delete Your Content at any time.

5. Voice recordings

Voice logging works by transmitting your audio to a speech-to-text processor for transcription. Raw audio is deleted immediately after transcription and is not stored, used to build voice profiles, or used for model training. By using voice logging you confirm that everyone whose voice may be captured has been informed accordingly.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harm anyone.
Do not log information about children you have no legitimate caregiving relationship with.
Do not attempt to access other families' data, probe or disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what law allows.
Do not resell or redistribute the Service without written permission.

7. Subscriptions & payments

The Free tier is free of charge. Paid plans ("Family Plus") are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your data remains exportable. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period already paid.

8. Refunds

If you are charged in error, or a paid feature is materially unavailable, contact us within 30 days for a full or pro-rata refund. EU/UK consumers additionally benefit from their statutory withdrawal rights.

9. Availability & changes

We work hard to keep the Service available, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of it (for example, during beta). If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 60 days' notice and provide a way to export your data.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data where you had an available export function, except where such limitation is prohibited by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

12. Governing law & disputes

NOTE TO OWNER: governing law and venue to be set upon completion of the legal entity (expected: a U.S. state) and updated here. Consumer protections of your country of residence are not affected.
